 TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga is set to extend a highly sensitive situation against the Covid-19 pandemic for the Greater Tokyo region to incorporate Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo prefectures, educated sources said on Tuesday. 


As per the sources, Suga told chiefs of the decision Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) that he expects to expand the underlying highly sensitive situation that became effective on January 8 for Tokyo and its three neighboring prefectures of Chiba, Kanagawa and Saitama, to cover the western regions, reports Xinhua news organization.
