India, Turkmenistan Review Bilateral Ties, Agree to Deepen Cooperation in UN & Multilateral Arena

 India and Turkmenistan on Wednesday looked into respective ties and consented to improve collaboration in the UN and multilateral field. The fourth round of Foreign Office Consultations were held among India and Turkmenistan through virtual mode. 

The Indian side was driven by Vikas Swarup, Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), while the Turkmenistan side was driven by its Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vepa Hajiyev, the MEA said in an assertion. The interviews gave a chance to completely survey the different parts of respective relations, including political, monetary, advertisements, safeguard, logical, social, training and consular collaboration, it said. 

The two sides traded sees on local and global issues of common interest and consented to upgrade collaboration in the UN and multilateral field, the assertion said. The discussions were held in a well disposed and sincere climate. It was consented to hold the fifth round of Foreign Office Consultations at a commonly helpful date, it said.
