BCCI President Sourav Ganguly Discharged After Second Angioplasty

 BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was on Sunday released from a Kolkata emergency clinic. The previous India commander went through a new round of angioplasty on Thursday. (More Cricket News) 

"Mr Ganguly is fine and stable. He might be released earlier today after specialists check him and experience the clinical reports. All his fundamental boundaries are acceptable," emergency clinic official said Saturday. "We may deliver him around 11 am.

Ganguly was in the emergency unit on Thursday late evening following the angioplasty, which was led by a group of specialists, including noted cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty and Dr Ashwin Mehta. 

What's more, two additional stents were embedded to clear the 48-year-old cricket legend's obstructed coronary conduits.

He was hospitalized on Wednesday for the second time in a month because of his cardiovascular condition. 

He had endured a mellow cardiovascular failure recently and was determined to have Triple Vessel Disease. He had gone through an angioplasty strategy during which a stent was embedded into one of the impeded conduits.
